Christine Welter is a writer and a teacher.
Born and raised in the Pfalz (Germany) she moved to the United States when she was 25 years old.
She is Suite101's Topic Editor for Poverty and World Development.
She worked at the Library of Congress and the German Historical Institute in Washington D.C.
Her articles have been published in Die Rheinpfalz (German regional daily) and Die Tageszeitung (German nationwide daily).
She is a Board member of the Midpeninsula United Nation's Association and contributes to its newsletter.
